Sea Palm (Postelsia palmaeformis) is a delicacy, known for it's unique texture and numerous culinary uses. Great in salads, soups, baked into a crunchy snack, or enjoyed raw.
Directions for Blanching:
Bring water to a boil. Turn off heat and add in seaweed. Seaweed will turn a brilliant green color. Soak for 20 seconds and immediately drain and put seaweed into a bowl of ice water. Drain water and lay seaweed out on paper towels or a cloth. Add seaweed to any of your favortie salads or follow our seaweed salad recipe under the 'recipe' tab.
